AVIS-2S

The AVIS-2S is a first of its kind, reusable drone emulating target enabling end-users to train point defense methods against sUAS and FPV drones without the associated risks, costs, and laws of using live FPVs as aerial targets. AVIS is a scalable concept allowing end-users to crawl, walk, and run with the associated mounting methods of target stand mounted or aerial tether*. AVIS-2S is specifically designed to accurately emulate the shape of 5-6" FPV drones. 

At the current time, it is illegal to shoot down a real drone within the US. AVIS targets are not real drones.

LIMITED-SELF HEALING 
Made from flexible but rigid material allowing limited self-healing dependent on caliber, impact density, and engagement angle. Results will vary on many factors including weather. We recommend training in air temperatures from 40-85F for best results. 

Due to prioritizing dimensional accuracy for better threat emulation, the struts/ arms are only rated for 1 hit with buckshot or rifle/pistol caliber rounds. The central body, battery, and props are more resistant to small arms and have survived 20+ bird shot size impacts. We appreciate any data or feedback to make our products even more resistant! 


STATIC OR TETHERED MOUNTING* 
Static: Bottom opening for standard 3/4" x 1 3/4" target stand stakes. 
Tethered: The provided H-harness plugs directly into target allowing quick set up for tethering to real drones, overhead lift, or even a tree branch.
